We are both very proud of this album, beautifully sung by The Poor Clares of Arundel, a group of 23 women who live in a convent in Sussex. They are very used to living in isolation from the rest of the community- in fact, they could teach us all something about how to do it and keep healthy minds and bodies!
The album is based on ancient plainchant and new melodies (written by us) to the words of St Clare and St Francis as suggested by the Sisters and we all hope it will provide meditative and relaxing music as an escape from the stresses going on in the world at the moment. We were all delighted and amazed when the album hit the No.1 spot in the Classical Charts on release.
